Marc has lived and worked in the U.S. and abroad in both governmental and private sector roles.

His diverse experience allows him to bring a practical global perspective to the individuals and businesses he serves. He began his career at a Big 6 accounting firm in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, where he built a strong foundation in federal, state, local, and international tax. He then transferred to one of the firm’s offices in Latin America where he continued to serve European, Asian, Latin American and U.S. clients.

After 10 years in large, global accounting firms, Marc decided to branch out and start his own firm based on conversations with clients who wanted more flexibility in scope and pricing. He started by working with businesses in the “amorphous middle market” as well as start-ups and their entrepreneurial owners. Those relationships have grown, and the firm now works with clients of all sizes, both public and private, and individuals across the economic spectrum.

A geographically diverse client base has allowed Marc to gain significant experience with:

Marc earned his BA from Colgate University, a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and a law degree from Emory University

He is fluent in Spanish and can speak Italian and Portuguese nearly as well as a 4-year-old native speaker. He continues to practice his language skills on a consistent basis to add value to the firm and its clients, so he is always game to practice different languages over drinks.

As anyone who has spent any time with Marc can tell you, he brings so much energy to the firm that their coffee machine has to work overtime so others can keep up. Always on the move, Marc loves to be outdoors and frequently takes part in long-distance runs, including completing the Mt. Mitchell Challenge. He also loves adventure travel, a favorite of which was mountaineering in the Dolomites and in, around, and over Mt. Blanc. On the rare occasions he is not in motion, he enjoys reading, especially Anne Rice, Michael Crichton, and Pat Conroy and will always happily re-watch his favorite movie with you, The Princess Bride. Inconceivable!
