As you may know, Schwartz International partners with many CPA and Law Firms to work with clients that have various international tax issues. Since the majority of Schwartz International’s clients are not located in Atlanta, where we call home, the firm enjoys traveling to visit clients as often as possible. Nothing replaces a face-to-face meeting (even with all the zoom calls we have gotten used to lately!) and we are so grateful we get to do it!
In early January, Marc and Charles traveled to Athens, Alabama to visit a long-term client of the firm, Mauldin & Jenkins (M&J). One item on the agenda was presenting a high-level international tax seminar. Marc and Charles were able to meet with the entire Athens office while the team from M&J in Huntsville, AL watched via live stream. The goal for these presentations is to ensure our clients are aware of the complexity of International Tax, identify red flags, and ask questions.
Overall, it was a productive trip and The International Tax Nerds plan to visit as many clients as possible before the busy tax filing season kicks off. Check back soon for our next adventure!
